According to the EarthSky web site, one of the names for this full moon is Snow Moon - appropriate for this particular weekend.

Saturday night after taking pictures of the moon, I came in and was working on putting a pic of this moon in the "moon" gallery of my website.  As I was finishing up about 11:00, I thought I'd take a look at the website of the Wildlife Center of Virginia to see if they'd posted any more pics from the day.  The various critter cams run until midnight, but once it's dark, it's just a black screen.  That night, I was amazed to see that, because of the full moon and the snow, we could actually see the bears - and they were having a party.  I watched until the cam went off at midnight.

Sunday night Rhoda, a regular Wildlife Center Critter Cam watcher, posted a video she had put together using the Wildlife Center's photos/videos of the weekend's big snow.
